With the new lockdown rules in place with immediate effect we wanted to update you on services:

Repairs and maintenance

Our Repairs Service will continue to deal with emergency, urgent and health & safety maintenance works in your homes and in communal areas. Routine repairs will be dealt with on a case by case basis but we ask you to think carefully about whether you need the repair done now or if it can wait. If you are in any doubt, please give us a ring and we can talk it through with you.

Our Repairs Team will continue to take necessary precautions, including using personal protective equipment (masks, gloves etc.) to protect you and our staff.  We continue to need to access your homes for carrying out gas and electrical safety checks. These are a common cause of accidents and fires in homes if appliances are not safe so it is important that we carry these out, where possible.

If you get an appointment letter and are worried about us coming in, please contact us on 01392 273462 so that we can talk to you about the process and the measures we are taking to keep you safe.

Work on our main improvement sites at Mount Dinham and Beacon Avenue will continue as normal as will our Grounds Maintenance services.

We would like to remind all tenants that 2 metre social distancing measures are required for us to work safely in your home, please be mindful of this and respect the safety of our staff. Thank you.

Housing Services

Our Customer Service Team is operating as normal and available to respond to your queries and concerns. They can also offer advice and support if you are worried about getting food or medications. Our Housing Team continues to work from home and are available on the phone, by text and email if you have concerns. They will be less visible on our estates to reduce unnecessary travel and will only be visiting residents if absolutely necessary.

The frustrations of lockdown can affect many of us and this can lead to poor mental health for some, especially where there are family or neighbourhood tensions. Please be kind to each other, and mindful and respectful of your neighbours, as always, but particularly during these times.
