Recycling Rules and other helpful information
Our properties span across four different councils all of which have different recycling rules and are always evolving. Below are some links to the councils website which our tenants might find helpful.
Fly tipping
We define fly-tipping as:
- The unlawful dumping of liquid or solid waste on land or in water.
- Mismanagement or misuse of waste facilities.
- Deposit of bulky items such as old furniture e.g. bed frames and sofas. (You can find out if your estate cleaning contract covers the removal of bulky items by contacting your housing officer or taking a look at the cleaning information in your block).
I know who is fly tipping
If you know who fly tipped the items, and have photographic evidence, please provide us/the Local Authority with this information.
If the fly tipping is on Cornerstone land.
If on Local Authority land please contact the local authority.
