Pulling Together

Cornerstone tenants are pulling together to look after each other during the COVID pandemic.  Our Housing Team have been ringing over 700 tenants to ensure that they are managing and have had great feed back.  Emily, Senior Customer Services Officer said “I’ve Just spoken to a tenant at Barley Mount and she told me that much of Barley Mount has pulled together. They have a residents Facebook group and they shop for each other.”

This is a great example of Cornerstone and private residents pulling together. “They have decorated their windows with rainbow pictures and someone in the street is popping sweets through the doors of houses with the pictures in. She and her neighbours are using their front gardens and they are having “dinner together” out there in the evenings. She feels very positive and is grateful for the support of her neighbours as she is a key worker and is still working part time.”
