Our Resident Engagement Panel has reviewed a variety of policies, leaflets, and procedures to ensure they are clear, accessible, and suitable for all residents. At the end of each scrutiny exercise, the panel produces a report to document their feedback and contributions. Below are their previous reports.

Lettings Standard Report: October 2025 – January 2026

The Resident Engagement Panel reviewed Cornerstone’s Lettings Standard to assess whether newly let homes meet a consistent, good‑quality standard. By examining policies, feedback, complaints, and visiting empty properties, the panel identified what works well and where improvements are needed. Their findings highlight opportunities to strengthen clarity, consistency, and the overall experience for residents moving into their new homes.

Communal Service Charge Report: February – June 2025

The Resident Engagement Panel reviewed communal cleaning and grounds maintenance services to assess whether they provide value for money following recent service charge increases. By examining resident feedback, visiting schemes, and scrutinising policies and contractor performance, the panel identified inconsistencies and highlighted opportunities to improve standards, transparency, and overall satisfaction.

Damp and Mould Report: October 2024 – January 2025

The Resident Engagement Panel reviewed how well Cornerstone handles damp and mould reports. By assessing resident feedback, complaint cases, policies, and new requirements under Awaab’s Law, they identified good practice but also delays and communication gaps that affect residents’ confidence in reporting.

Anti-Social Behaviour Review: February – March 2024

The Resident Engagement Panel reviewed Cornerstone’s response to anti‑social behaviour after satisfaction levels fell. Using resident interviews, survey data, case information and policy reviews, the panel identified concerns about slow action, communication gaps and reporting challenges, highlighting opportunities to improve safety and resident confidence.
