At Cornerstone, your safety is our top priority. We’re always looking for ways to make our services better and more reliable, especially as we prepare for the winter months.
To give you the best possible support, we’re partnering with WMS to improve our gas service alongside the work already carried out by our own Direct Labour Team.
Why Gas Safety Checks Are Important
Gas appliances like boilers and gas fires need to be checked every year to make sure they are safe. If they are not working properly, they can leak gas or produce carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas that you cannot see or smell. It can kill.
That’s why these checks are so important. They keep you and your family safe.
Remember
We have a legal duty to keep your home safe by checking and maintaining any gas appliances we own, such as your boiler or gas fire, once a year. If we can’t complete this important safety check, your tenancy could be at risk. If you do not allow us to complete this important safety work, we may take legal action and your tenancy may be at risk.
During the visit, we’ll also check your smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detectors and replace them if needed.
