Estate Champion
Help Keep Your Neighbourhood a Great Place to Live
Cornerstone offers an Estate Champion role to help make sure our neighbourhoods remain places residents are proud to call home.
Our staff work hard to keep standards high, but we know we can’t be everywhere at once. That’s why we value feedback from people who live in our communities. You can be our eyes and ears on the ground.
What you tell us helps us deliver good services and keep your estate a pleasant, safe place to live.
To Apply
Contact us by phone, email or post:
- Email – mail@cornerstonehousing.net
- Phone – 01392 273462
- Post – Cornerstone House, Western Way, Exeter, EX1 1AL
Tell us your name and address, and we will get back to you to talk about the role.
It is important that others, including our contractors, don’t know that you are an Estate Champion. This is like a ‘mystery shopping’ role.
If you have any questions at any time, please contact the Housing and Customer Engagement Manager via mail@cornerstonehousing.net
Role Description
You will check the grounds maintenance or communal cleaning once a month and report back to us. We will agree a time with you for this. This helps us work with you and other customers to make sure our services are as good as they can be.
Please remember, you only report on the areas that Cornerstone are responsible for.
Here is some information to help you decide if this role is for you:
- Once a month, usually in the first week of the month (between 1st and 7th), you complete the Estate Champion monitor form
- If we do not hear from you for two months in a row, we will think you no longer want to be involved and will remove you from our list of Estate Champions. If you want to stop being an Estate Champion, that is fine. Just let us know and we will remove your details.
