• My son or daughter has turned 18. Can I add them to my tenancy agreement?

  We do not allow parent/child tenancy agreements. Only the original applicant can be named on the tenancy agreement and add an additional spouse or partner after signing up, providing they meet criteria (for example right to rent, not a homeowner etc).

  Your son or daughter will remain as a named member of the household. The exception to this is if you both apply for a home on Devon Home Choice as joint applications and sign up together.

• Can I add my brother or sister to my tenancy agreement?

  We do not allow non spouse or partners to be added to the tenancy agreements after sign up. You and your brother or sister can apply for a home on Devon Home Choice as joint applicants and sign up to a property together.

• Can I add a lodger to my household?

  You will need to get permission to have a lodger move into the property. This depends on the type of tenancy you are on. Contact us for further details.

• I have just got married. Can I add my spouse to my tenancy agreement?

  Yes, you can add a spouse or partner to your tenancy agreement providing they meet criteria (for example right to rent, not a homeowner etc). Click below to download the ‘Application for joint tenancy’ form.

• My partner or spouse has moved out. Can I remove them from the tenancy agreement?
