Keeping You Safe in Your Home

Asbestos surveys are an important part of keeping you safe in your home. When you move into your home, if asbestos is present we will tell you about it.

We conduct an asbestos survey whenever we plan to do any major works in your home or when a property becomes empty, if we do not already have one on file. If asbestos is found, we will either remove it safely or make sure it is not disturbed during the work. All our contractors are trained to work safely with asbestos.

Is Asbestos Dangerous?

Don’t worry if your home does have asbestos containing material. Asbestos is not a health and safety risk if it is managed and maintained properly. As long as asbestos is not damaged or disturbed, it is completely safe.

The danger only comes if asbestos is damaged, drilled into, sanded down or broken. This can release harmful fibres into the air.
