It’s Rural Housing Week!

This week we are celebrating all the benefits that Affordable Housing bring to rural communities across Devon.

Cornerstone has a number of affordable rural housing schemes in East Devon and in Teignbridge.  Our schemes include Rented, Rent-To-Buy and Shared Ownership homes in villages.  This has enabled local people to remain close to where they have grown up with the added benefit of providing a network of support for families and friends.  We know that rural housing schemes also help sustain local shops, businesses as well as village primary schools.

This year Cornerstone completed a further 7 affordable Rent to Buy homes in the village of Woodbury, near Exmouth.  This Rentplus scheme is designed to assist tenants buy their home in the future.

Cornerstone is a member of the Devon Rural Housing Partnership which is part of Devon Communities Together, a voluntary organisations promoting rural initiative across Devon.
