A Tour of Our Historic Almhouses

31/05/2018

Nineteen members of the Devonshire Association – an organisation dedicated to the study and exchange of information and ideas with the people of Devon on all matters concerning the county – today paid a visit to Cornerstone’s almhouses at Mount Dinham, Exeter, to see how renovation works were progressing.

After a brief talk from Cornerstone’s Chief Executive, Rick Williams, covering the rich history of the site and Cornerstone’s involvement, members enjoyed a guided tour from the site managers. The tour encompassed the full scope of works being undertaken on the site, beginning at a cottage in the early stages of renovation works and finishing with an example of one of the fully renovated cottages.
