| BOARD VISIT THE OFFICE SITE |
The Board of Cornerstone recently visited the plot of land fronting on to Western Way in Exeter City Centre. Formerly occupied by Texaco, the area has been fully cleaned with all petrol tanks removed ready for redevelopment. Plans for the new site just off Western Way are still being discussed, but considerations include a new Office (as we have out grown our Southernhay Office) as well as some residential one and two bed apartments.
Rick Williams, Chief Executive of Cornerstone said, “It’s an extremely exciting time for Cornerstone as we head into 2010. In the last 18 months we have pursued our expansion strategy buying and redeveloping properties in Teignmouth, Dawlish and Crediton. We plan to continue working hard to provide much needed affordable rented accommodation in Exeter and the surrounding market towns and we’re delighted to have successfully acquired such a prime spot in the city centre.”
Planning for the Western Way development will continue into 2010 with a build completion date in 2011. |
